accidieDormant State Powers
These are the simple demonic powers a sloth demon possesses when in their "dormant" state, which is typically their natural state. It is categorized by red rimmed and baggy eyes and general sleepiness. A sloth demon may even fade in and out of sleep during conversation.
Induce Sleep
; A subtle change in her voice, lowering the tone and slowly the words is the hard to note warning sign that the sloth demon is about to ensnare you. It soothes away your troubles, convinces you that after all you've struggled you deserve to rest and be at peace. It beckons you to lay down, to relax...to sleep.
If a victim becomes aware soon enough that he/she is falling under the spell it can be broken from by thinking for lack of a better word "lively" thoughts. Of fighting, of running, of duties still left unperformed. Anything that puts a stopper in sleep.
Dream Eater
; Once the victim is asleep, the sloth consumes the energy from their dreams and uses it to make her own powers stronger and to nourish herself. These dreams quickly turn into night terrors for the victim, terrors that the sloth demon controls.
Waking State
The sloth demon begins to waken, her energy suddenly growing as she becomes as deadly as any other demon and as quick to anger.
Black Tar
; Not her favorite ability, but in this state the sloth demon can summon forth a black tar like substance from her body. Poisonous to the touch when wet and resilient against attacks when hardened. She can form the tar into makeshift weapons that attach to her body as well.
Awake State
The sloth demon remembers her past and in doing so, loses all sloth demon abilities in exchange for her angelic ones. However as she is damned, this lasts only until she runs herself dry and falls asleep. Reentering the dormant stage and becoming a sloth demon once more, with faded memory again.
Flight
; Her wings have atrophied from disuse and are blackened. She can fly short distances.
Pyrokinesis/Firey Form (holy flame)
; Before she was a demon she was an angel whose main skill was in the manipulation of fire. Like the tar, she can direct fire and have it encase any one of her limbs or her entire body.
